Despite the rain, lots of fun at the 3rd qualifier!

We weren't so lucky with the weather for the 3rd qualifying event of the ICV Golf Challenge held yesterday at the spectacular Riviera Golf Resort - it poured with rain in fact for most of the afternoon.

All the players who completed the course were given a hero's welcome and there was a generally euphoric atmosphere.

 

The event marked the first of our initiatives carried out in partnership with the Lodi Corazza vineyard. They donated some of their delicious Pignoletto wine - both sparkling and still - which was offered to all and much appreciated all round.

 

Another surprise that went down well was the special prize of a free holiday at Palma di Majorca for 2 people. The prize was generously donated by Travelplan and given to the first player present at the prize-giving whose score was picked from the heap.
