A charming day at Villa Condulmer in Veneto for Qualifier 4 of the ICV Golf Challenge 2010

The ICV Challenge 2010 left the Emilia Romagna region for a foray into the region of Veneto this weekend for the 4^th date in this year's event.
The location was the fabulous Villa Condulmer golf club near Treviso. This year celebrating its 50^th anniversary, the course is set in the former parkland of a 17^th century villa – Villa Condulmer – which nowadays is one of the area's most prestigious 5 star hotels. With a fascinating history – see the piano used by Giuseppe Verdi to compose his famous opera, La Traviata, sumptuous interiors and gorgeous grounds, the hotel makes an ideal base for playing at Villa Condulmer and exploring some of the region's other 30+ courses.

The event went off well and benefited from a lovely sunny day - more than welcome after the previous day's rain - and there was a very good turnout.

The ICV Golf Challenge 2010 continues throughout the summer. The next event, on Sunday 30th May, sees us back in Emilia Romagna at the Casalunga Golf Club, near Bologna. Owned by TV personality chef Cesare Marretti, the golf resort also boasts a fantastic restaurant, ideal for any sort of occasion.
