Il Picciolo Golf Club

Technical data: 18 holes,par 72, 5870 meters.Il Picciolo Golf Club was the first golf course constructed in Sicily. It was designed in the 1989 by Luigi Rota Caremoli. The are many beautiful oak and hazelnut trees as well as vineyards around the course but the main attraction here is majestic Mount Etna which dominates the scenery from almost every hole. At an altitude of 650 mt above sea level, the air is fresh, providing welcome respite from the hot summer sun and a refreshing change from frenetic city life. Visit the village of Linguaglossa nearby and the Alcantara Gorge- an amazing natural phenomenon of caves and waterfalls- as well as beautiful Taormina with its stunning Greek amphitheatre.
