Technical data: 18 holes, par 72, 6,383 meters, inaugurated in 1975 and laid out by the Cotton, Pennink & Partners architectural studio to a design by Piero Mancinelli; 9 holes, par 36.

Half an hour from Cagliari and ten minutes from the transparent waters of the sea, amidst the splendours of nature, you’ll find the golf links of Is Molas. 27 holes making up a course that stretches for ten kilometres and offers ideal playing conditions in a beautiful setting. The Italian International Open has been held here four times and some of the highest-ranked players in the world have walked its fairways. The first eighteen holes were laid out by the Cotton, Pennink & Partners architectural studio to a design by Piero Mancinelli. The next nine were laid out with the professional advice of Franco Piras, representative of Gary Player Design.

Great champions have always appreciated this course, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, and today they still consider it one of the most fascinating and technically satisfying in Southern Europe, with its greens sloping down from the hills to the sea.

The 4-star Hotel Is Molas is open all year round and has 84 rooms, all with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe and balcony or terrace.
